It feels like not only the roads are congested, but public transit is also getting busier to me at least, infrastructure planning isn't keeping up. I've noticed that taking the GO Train from Ajax for sporting events (TFC/Leafs) has become so busy that we now get on at Whitby GO in order to get good seating. We also leave the TFC game 5 minutes early to get a seat on the Exhibition GO heading back to Union and saving another 30-45 minutes travel home. That's just the train...

Driving the 401 is insane. I picked up my daughter from Canada's Wonderland last Thursday night at 10pm...400 to 401 east was jammed. Its frickin 10pm!!! If you drive the 401 you can guarantee that each time there's a crash...EVERY SINGLE TIME. 407 is worth its weight in gold and I feel the owners know this and we won't ever see that highway become free. Happy that we live and work in the East end.

This city is screwed...so screwed.

 

east is better because Brampton is in the west.
