I was at the meet...bonkers! So many cool Porsches turned up and likely the largest gathering of Porsches seen in Toronto.

Usually around this time of the year is the best time people are looking to purchase their sport cars but heard that sales are down and heard that the economy has slowed down and hence prices of cars will come down.
There are lots of options out there and I do see some prices of especially 991's has come down quite a bit on pricing. I think prices of P cars will continue to come down and maybe go back close to its pre pandemic pricing.

I doubt the pricing will come down to pre-pandemic. The 992 MSRP is so much higher, and now the .2 even more. 991 Pricing will remain stable as it reflects an amazing value compared to any 992

I agree with Pappagray...pre-pandemic prices won't happen again, but I do think that pre-pandemic depreciation will return. One interesting change in commentary on the 911 is that EVERYONE (enthusiasts, media and even the haters) is commenting on the price being too high for what these cars offer. The challenge to that thinking is...what alternative is a better/more desirable car? I couldn't come up with one in the base 992 price range, so I went ahead and ordered one.

Mine is $180,134 our the door. It's crazy that there are no alternatives that I like anywhere near that price. Personally, if my car was $160k out the door, I'd feel it was a good value.

Cumulative inflation is around 23% since pandemic .... so if we take a 19% discount on current pricing, does that take us down to pre-pandemic pricing?

Current new pricing is almost identical to pre-pandemic prices when adjusted for inflation and lux tax.

As an example, my '23 C2S was $185k out the door. I was fortunate to avoid the LT.
An identical '24 C2S with LT is $212K out the door.
