won't last long.
I tried to pickup a Miami blue for months, very limited supply in canada and the one I saw in 6 months wasn't my spec.

Pardon my ignorance, but is that price supposed to represent a good deal for a 5 year old 911?

Actually, it is pretty fair believe it or not! A colleague and I were talking about this the other day. That car is lightly optioned - maybe $135K msrp I'm guessing. So, 11-12% depreciation over 5 years - crazy! An article based in the US stated that the 5 year depreciation on a 911 is 15% currently. Inflation is running up the replacement cost of these cars and that is impacting used values. Also, the damn Lux Tax is impacting used prices.

I placed a deposit on a low option 992 build in late 2021 at 2022 prices (pre lux tax). I built the same car this weekend on the configurator and the cost of the car has risen 13.4% (in-line with inflation more or less), but with the lux tax, the OTD price is up a little over 20% now.

Interesting. If that is the actul depreciation and if dealers are now giving out buildable allocations for new 911's (i.e., you can actually get a new car these days), I would buy new 10/10 times.

I agree...I was offered a new Base 992 allocation last weekend and did the math 10 ways! Same result each time - buy new. Understanding that lack of supply and inflation drove the price increases - what happens now that supply has caught up and inflation is back closer to normal levels? My guess is that depreciation goes back to normal levels also.

Long time lurker, I’m looking to get my first 911. Ideally a 992 that’s awd and automatic. I live around the GTA. I’ve been looking on autotrader, but I can’t figure out which listings seem worthwhile exploring. Not really picky about colour or features, just trying to find a reasonable used one. If anyone can chime in with any advice, definitely would appreciate it.

Miami Blue is the best color, a T in that color looks great and manual too, I'd jump on it if I had the garage space.

Just ran the Vin on the blue T and the original MSRP was $128,020...so 95% of original MSRP. Very cool car though...might have to go see it
