I'm not in the market for a Taycan, but had considered one as an alternative to the Panamera on our list. What's driving Taycan prices to drop? Is it the same for the pre-owned market?
I was at a dealer a few Months ago and they had a Taycan at almost 200G .. i thought that was insane.. but maybe it's the Norm ?? i didn't notice what options were on it though .. I may have passed out after seeing the price.
Been considering moving my 991.2 T along, but hard to tell what values are. Seem to be all over the map
If you look on Autotrader, most 2019's at dealers with about 30k km and CPO are $129.9K ask. Gorgeous one in Quebec with 11k and CF buckets asking $139.9k for the past 3 months. Cheapest is a 50k car for $118k if I recall correctly. Red Markham Porsche car with 16k for $137k for months also.

Are you suggesting that my $90k offer is opportunistic?
HaHa...I wish you would have had a chance to take her out in my last 993. The PO took out the entire interior and covered the cabin in Dynamat and then new factory carpets. It was unbelievable quiet and absent of the old oil smell that my wife hates about 993s!
I'm waiting on those Dumb-asses at Carfax to fix my account. Bought 2 reports on Saturday and used one for a local car. Tried to use the other for the Arena Red cab yesterday and my account shows that I don't have the other report left to purchase. Of course, you cannot speak to a live person anymore, so after telling their AI bot to FO, I had to submit a ticket. Still waiting 18 hours later...
This is correct. I had a well-equipped 2015 Macan S with 100k on it and PCNT offered me $23k on a trade-in on my new Macan GTS back in August last year. It had a $6k insurance claim on it which likely impacted the price by a couple of thousand but it was pretty clear they weren't that interested in it. Too old for them to sell as used.
Ended up selling it privately for just under $30k so no complaints really...
Like every P car, spec is everything. Mine is a pretty great spec with a Manual trans and all the enthusiast stuff. I think on stock wheels id probably consider in the 130s, but even then it doesn't sound worth it to sell.

The white PDK T with buckets mentioned was at Porsche North Toronto for about 6-8 months in late 2022/early 2023. It appeared on Autotrader privately for a week last summer before making it's way to it's current "home".

You have a great spec. I'd keep it. Mine has also become a "keeper".
The white car I mentioned is still in Quebec, now at a private dealer (where it was before going to the P-Car dealer) and is now $136k. Just spoke with them today…

For those looking for a 991.2 Carrera T, Porsche London has a Miami Blue car with 36k km, manual, with a $3,000 vandalism claim (not sure what that was) for $121K with 2 year warranty.
