the future is bright and I can see wonderful alternatives . Once cars are banned I will buy a mare and lightweight trotting cart. My mare( called Portia of course) will graze on the new hayfields that replace public parks ( no more tents), and or will have places to snack in the temporary food and water at ChowDown(tm) locations on each street. Filthy driving tours will be replaced by leisurely outings on the renamed Dundas Street ( now Jack Leighton Boulevard).

Of course this would cause a horse**** problem but it cannot be worse than we get currently .

There are so many garbage T specs on Finder, and so far the 992s are even worse than the 991s.

I suspect that most of the 992 T's will be bloated builds dictated by the dealers.

i was kinda wondering what was gonna get renamed in the mname of jack now that Olivia is running the show.

Leightoncy in service provided by city hall seems too easy though.

Another interesting point is that some 22 GT3s are slowly approaching the low $300k zone, with many priced at $309k. Soon we should start seeing them under the $300k mark as fall approaches.

http://www.porsche-code.com/PRALSP73 is my latest build. Even with very few "frilly" options the price is $165K before Justin's tax (Race tex roof for $1600 when it's been standard on 911s since 2001 is a joke). $18K in options, or just over $11K if i skip the buckets. I briefly discussed the Ice Grey Metallic car that was in Kelowna (now sold) and they wanted $85K (including taxes) and my 2019 T (with under 10K km). NOT happening.

This. I have a relatively bloated '23 Carrera T build with 34K in options, it is a nice build and a blast to drive, best driver's car for the street in the Carrera lineup, IMHO. Feels on the street like the GT3 does on track. My sales guy really wanted me to push the options though, as it is easy profit for them. I did get at MSRP however.

In Canada they have to sell at MSRP, that's why they're bloating builds and forcing options. My local dealer (Quebec City) forces $30k to $40k in options on 911 builds, depending on model. I work too hard for my money to blow $$$ on options I don't need. On a Cayenne Platinum they were forcing $20k in options, on a base Cayenne with many options baked in the base price already. Think about it. I ended up buying from another dealer who wasn't as greedy who didn't mind my tiny $11k in options... Discussing that dealer with other people at the local track has become a type of therapy session lol

They actually don't have to sell at MSRP in Ontario as long as the additional charges are disclosed in any advertising. There can be no hidden charges - Check OMVIC for details.

A lot of dealers out west advertise limited vehicles such as the Raptor R above list.

The Local Ford dealers did the same with the Bronco and I was told $2,500 ADM by Oakville Nissan on the new Frontier (for my Son) when it came out.

Your T is really nice Tim, that would be a tough one to walk away from! So what were they offering as a trade value?

The (now sold) Ice Grey Metallic car in Kelowna was MSRP'd around $170K and honestly wasn't close enough to what I wanted for me to counter offer (standard stereo, perhaps too many options I didn't want etc). They offered $115K for mine based on an email appraisal. All-in difference $85K. Too much. I'd rather take that $85K and put it towards a Cayman GTS 4.0 in a year or two. Or do something smart and invest it........but I like my toys!

Gotcha! In this market, I wouldn’t take that either. PCO has a nice GT Silver T with something like 7K km…but they want $149k for it. I believe things are normalizing quickly, so I’m going to wait it out.
