Was that you going through my blue box at 4am the other day?
I've been dropping of my oil at the the hazardous waste depot for years. Sucks that you can't keep your container now. I was using 5 gallon gas containers.

on a somewhat related unrelated note .... since this covid thing started , they stopped returns for a while so i was just throwing my beer bottles and cans in the recycling... i just use cans now and i never even bother returning them anymore, i just fill the blue box. I was wondering if anyone else slipped into this habbit ?

Not a chance. I want my deposit back! Effing Liberals put the deposit on wine & liquor bottles thinking most would just toss them in the blue bin. Free money for them

I save the 2 or 3 gallon plumbing antifreeze containers over the winter. Our cottage is winterized but we drain it the plumbing and fill the traps/toilets in case of an extended power outage. Saves me a fortune in heating the place when we are not there. Go up only about once a month....

I toss them all, bottles included. The poor people that take them from my garbage need the deposit money more than I do. And I’m also very lazy.

there is honesty right there....

Will if you throw in the bluebox they are destroyed and remade.. if you return they are just washed so bottles i think twice on now because the sum game of recycling beer bottles is negative. .. but cans, yeah , recycling,

I put out my wine and beer bottles, separate from my recycling. Always picked up by morning of trash day.

That's what they're counting on. Call me cheap. I want my money back. That's all.

I'm so lazy that I drink beer out of tall cans and wine from a box!

You forgot the funnel, cause swallowing on your own is for the birds. Ha Ha

I personally don't normally have wine or spirits bottles to return, but I love the idea of putting them in the normal recycling to give those who could really use them the opportunity to do so.

Good on you guys, a relatively small, but very nice thing.
