Ahhh, that explains it. I like the hard out rear air grill. It looks tougher/meaner than a Singer to me although not many photos there yo do it justice. Looking forward to your build. You should start a thread for your build

Looks very clean. I can see the next year being mostly interior tweaks.

What pressure were you running those tyres at. They Nitro filled?
Hoping for Uncles next week for maiden voyage

I think I ran them at 32 hot, the same as the 17" versions. Garden variety air.

I'll ask Chris B what he runs his 996TT track tyres at. Matt G might be even more up to date as he runs Z221s.

I'm not sure what you've run to date, but if you've never had track tyres you are in for a treat. These stick like doodads to a blanket.

I'd try 32 front/36 rear hot.

I run 32 all round hot on my Dunlops, but haven't run Z221's on the 996tt so would go with Matt's experience.

I'm running in the Prestige group on Wednesday 12 March as a final chance to test anything before the SITT.

You can certainly run 32 rear, I did that for a while but started experimenting with 36 to see if it'd help with heat/wear.

I can only talk to the 17". I used to reduce my pressures to 25 rear and 27 front, when at the Track as soon as I arrived. That brings them up to 32 hot.

As I have become faster I've had to reduce the fronts to 26.

I typically start around 26 all round and then adjust them all to 32 when I come in hot from the first session.

Here is one of my favourite 993 interiors (with backdate 964 lower dash) Doug which I think will strike a cord with you. You will need to imagine it in black carpet. Very similar to the ones you posted, nice mono chrome look with drilled billet alloy anodised black features....all parts can be purchased off the shelf and not an overly expensive conversion .

Not much I would personally add to this other than the ubiquitous Heigo half cage and these cool drilled black exterior door handles which match the inside door furniture, along with the WEVO anodised shifter with Pelican drilled shifter head for effect...
