Any Rennlisters from New Zealand?
I've just listed this ( the new 991.2 Carrera GTS with 450bhp & 404lbft), for anyone who may hanker for a brand new, 991 GT3 beating car for the road. It is simply awesome. Make me an offer on my GT4 this weekend and Ill keep it for myself :-)

G'day Guys, I'm an Aussie but have a business in NZ and am shortly going to be looking to buy a Cayman or Boxster (relatively cheap, reliable, good drive etc) for some South Island blasts. I'm looking for a forum, or club, or some contacts over there so I can get into things. I've googled all the usual independent garages etc, but it's more getting into the enthusiast community I'm interested in.
These are my AU Porsches.
Any intros and leads welcome. Cheers.
GT3 at Baskerville in Tasmania 2 weeks ago. Great little track
Copper Brown Metallic SC at a Cars'n'Coffee in Melbourne
Zenith Blue 993 C2S getting a wash in my drive
Fraise IROC RSR is being built now and may be another colour and have different wheels! It's just a render for the sake of choosing colour.

I'll be looking to set some dates down the diary for some drives so will check out the PCNZ calendar, or perhaps let me know if anything is planned that has a bit of lead time on it.
Cheers.
Awesome track day today. 64 Porsches on the international track! Had lots of fun out there playing with the 5 x GT4 in group 1. The green GT4 acquitted itself very well indeed. Looking at the traces its varying only 8 kmph less vmax on the front straight for its 100 bhp deficit over the GT3!

I had a great time on the parade laps. Street tyres, street clothes, no helmet and 25 minutes on the full circuit made my day. The car was so unstressed I could have done double the distance. Sign me up for more of that.
Bah to you all. I was pretty keen to try the international track but had to do Mother's Day duty (3 generations...). At least I got to see a lot of the cars going back up the motorway around 4 -- looked like they were heading into some crappy traffic though. 64 cars is a good turnout, I hope there will be another chance.

Thanks for the leg up Dave. This mobile Ap is crap. I couldn't post any pictures yesterday at the track - kept getting parse error...
Heres a picture from yesterday. Michael the traffic was crap. I left HD for Milford at 4.45pm and didnt get home till 6.20pm due to the motorway being 1st gear for most of the way. Its absolutely ridiculous on a Sunday afternoon. Reinforces my decision to live in the traffic free central Waikato. On a good day its 6 mins to cover the 12km to teh track and on a bad day its taken 8 minutes LOL!
