True! Anything can happen.

Earlier this year before qualifying, the weather looked ok. Everyone went to grid on slicks. While sitting there waiting to go out, a shower came out of nowhere, and then lasted almost the whole session. It made for an interesting qualifying.

Hmmm... I'm tempted to just leave my rain tires at home.

Same thing happened at the VIR PCA Club Race this year. Race 2 - everybody on Slicks and the heavens opened just as we left grid.

Frank is going way beyond the Rain Dance now....
next option is to call in the Fire Trucks for an overnight "FireDrill"

There was an option to reserve power on ClubReg. Anyone know how that's going to work when we get there?

The option was free. All the power boxes will be unlocked and you can just plug in

That's what happened last year at NJMP. One of the most fun races I've ever done, until the 2 boxsters figured out it had dried up before I did, and passed me, one on the inside, one on the outside, in turn 1.

That was a fun race for sure. Passing you on the inside while Manny was going around outside was pretty cool. I remember thinking that 968's must have crappy brake's because you broke so early.

Agreed, one of my favorite races in spb. This race also helped me win my first workers choice award which I was pretty pumped about.

Here's the video from my car. The restart 968 sandwich mentioned is around 16min in. Looking forward to this weekend! I wouldn't mind if we had a little rain

To all of my friends at Thunderbolt this weekend, I hope you have a great event. Enjoy some frozen custard. Avoid the Chinese-Japanese restaurant with the raw sewage problem that was in the news.

Thanks Dave! It's been a great day. Lots of uninterrupted track time and small run groups. Except for the 100% humitidity.it was a great day.

I figure this picture would be the best proof that I am at NJMP this weekend.

Is there a more Jersey sign than this?

I think track records are safe for another day. There's no way it's drying out by tomorrow.

You would be surprised how quick 95% of that track dries, it's that other 5% that will bite you..

Good luck to all today!!
