Great event! Thanks to all the folks who help make this possible.

My fast lap from the weekend (1:28.769):

(and yes, speeds are shown in km/hr...someday I'll fix that!)

Great racing with you Colin!! Some interesting times out there

Pretty pleased with my rookie race weekend.

A P2 overall and P1 in class, P7 overall P3 in class after not being ready to grid for race 2 and losing my P4 Qualifying spot and then a P1 overall. Also fortunate enough to take home a workers choice and the rookie award. So yeah, pretty happy with my first race weekend

Paul, I would call that nothing short of an amazing rookie weekend. You've been working really hard toward it and it paid off big time. Massive congrats!

Great racing with you as well Paul. That was a really nice move into T1. I was too preoccupied with the carnage in front of me, and you took advantage. Then there was the T5 incident which you did a better job of keeping up momentum as well; I really thought they were going to roll back across the track! But anyways, I got to take my car home in the same condition as it arrived, which is always the main goal.

Also a big shout out to Bela (EPS Motorsports) for getting the car setup so well. I've been driving my 964 cup for a long time, and the setup has never been better.

Honestly the entire thing was a very humbling experience regardless of the results. The level of concentration, decision making, intensity, risk and reward were all so much greater than anything I could have ever imagined. Just being out there was so exciting for me and I am as proud of my decision making throughout the entire weekend as the results. In total I must have backed out of at least 50 passes throughout the weekend because they weren't "right" and in the end that patience was rewarded.
Being able to run with people like Colin, Jimmy Martin, Michael Criscito and not have them look at me as the stupid rookie was really the end goal. I came into the weekend with the expectation of don't do anything stupid, be aware, be safe, be predictable, be respectful, don't ruin my own race or anyone else's and I checked all those boxes! THAT is the real victory

after all those passing/ rule change threads here on RL you really set the Rookie bar to a crazy high level...... hope to follow you one day (next season)

I have seen you put in the work in the last year and the results show it.
knowing that you will continue to improve ( driver and Car development) and gain experience the competition will really need to step it up.

... and you should be! You were extremely well prepared (driver and car), picked your home track, had the right attitude, listened to others, made smart decisions and displayed an amount of humbleness that should be an example for others. I'll share the track with you anytime.

Here is my video from Race 1 - Qualified right up with the Cups but the track conditions and the high humidity made it very tough for me personally. Still came out on top in GTB1 on this one.

Many thanks to Pete Debusman, Dan Pechtel and the gang for putting on a great show. Really appreciated your efforts!
