That's the "before" pic... I shudder to see the "after" if that had happened at that moment.

Burning Brakes
FIRST LESSON. If the car goes over, make a BALL with your extremities. Grab your shoulder harnesses so your arms and hands don't flail around! Seen many injuries where hands, wrists and arms go out the window when the car is coming down... NOT cool.
Shows how violent it is inside and that there is NO such thing as a "casual motorsport event."

That could have been really ugly. Im surprised he didnt have bruises all over his arms. Could have been a lot worse. Sure he is 80, but that was a pretty obvious mistake. Dag racer vs road racer skill set.
Jay had a lot of class when he got out of the car. Down to earth and not a whiner!
as a note, i think all passengers should be required to wear arm restraints. i still have my set from TCCRA, when you needed to wear them if you didnt have window nets for their racing groups. That wouldnt have been pretty if his arm got out the window and was removed or crushed.

There was so much wrong going on:
1. Belts were way too loose.
2. Not in fire suits.
3. No halo sets, hans devices, or arm restraints.
4. Driver didn't have a plan for his actions.
5. Jay failed to control his student.

looked like 2 idiots to me, the whole car doing a wheelie is stupid, why did he turn? was there on coming traffic that we can't see? Jay looked Fing pissed, all his exotics and almost dies in a 60+ year old plymouth with reverse engineering!!

Luigi said "5 - jay failed to control his student"....priceless.
I saw that on the news this morning and was cringing in fear, praying Jay's arm did not go out the window. Damn lucky.
