Probably as good a place to ask as any:

If I run my GT3 in prepared K, cause uhh, it's prepared, what weight do I use? Still limited to the J-class weight (in my case 3192lbs)?

Doug,
Why did you build a 964 and not a 993?

I just don't understand why the consensus is that the 993 can't be competitive.

The most common complaint is the gearing vs. the 964.
1st through 4th is damn near identical on both cars, 5th gear looks like a slight advantage vs. the 964.

RSA uses G50/05 and USA 993 G50/20

993 tire size used in the chart are slightly shorter vs. 964.

Soooo....

993 has

Same HP vs 964

LSA multilink rear suspension

Available 4 way ABS with ABD option

Bigger brakes

Wider track

and just lost 120 lbs

Running out of excuses
Doug,

No more excuses for the 993 class when we kick their butts in 2015

I do think the 120lbs will help them a lot. I run my 964 obviously, but my dad has a 993 and although its not a clubrace car, its very well set up. It was always a hair slower than my 964, but was just so much better under braking. With the 120lbs lost they are going to be a force. Maybe they will let us 964 guys get big brakes in 15

Looking forward to getting more races in with you in 15. Motor is gonna get some refreshing and going to hopefully do some JRZs this year.
