Also consider Summit Point. Cost should be much lower than the Glen, good track, and not too far from DC and Baltimore airports for those who want to fly in.

It's sort of the opposite of the weather in Michigan's UP which is two weeks of sh**ty skiing. I haven't been able to think of an equivalent for TX.
In all seriousness, I'll take the heat over the snow and November through March in TX is quite pleasant. The driving season in TX is Sept through June while one could argue the driving season up north is more like June through Sept.

This just in... Mr Lally is a wee bit faster than I am in my car. By a wee bit I mean a whole fecking lot faster. Simply amazing to watch him learn the car and the track all at the same time.

I saw some "spy" pics of some Texans following (stalking) Mr. Lally around the local establishments. Odd huh?

Ill post some video of him driving my car next week. Watching him learn the track in a car he had never driven was fascinating.
The guy is a real class act. Very down to earth, very hard working, and very generous with his time. He's been hopping in and out of cars all day, and takes the time with each driver to get to know them, give them a ride, and give feedback on their cars setup. Best I can tell, Andy, all our coaches, and most importantly all our clients are having a great time.

Unfortunately my car has been in and out of the shop, which prevented me from registering. Now that the transmission is finally repaired properly, I would make the effort to go cross country for this event if there is a repeat. Of course Sebring would be great, but I will trailer to Texas if needs be. I am jealous of you guys!
PS. And Mike, I'd be glad to carry your tires out there if this event is held next year.
