Bump. This event is almost sold out, but we still have a few slots left.

Sign up now at ClubRegistration.net. Search for "Texas World Speedway" for the Andy Lally Advanced Driving Clinic.

Hotel rooms will be at a premium that weekend, so if you are interested, best to grab a room now. The Manor Inn is making rooms available for a good price. Tell them you are going to a TWS event to get the non-football rate.

I've got an SP996 and an SM that I am willing to rent to folks who don't want to make the haul to TWS from out of state. Got someone thinking about the 996 right now. The track works equally well for Miatas as for more powerful cars. Great chance to check out one of the most under-appreciated tracks in the US.

It's the pre-antpenultimate announcement.

There's still time to get in, though the rate goes up in early October. FYI Andy and his co-driver John Potter took the win at Laguna, and is in first place for points this year.

Can't believe there are any spots still available. Great track and great folks. Glad I signed up.

Yup. We just had 2 cancellations, so there are a couple of slots available for this event, one month away.

That would be a good idea!

Admittedly, it is food for thought, although the logisticswould be more difficult for me. The Glen is way too expensive to make this sort of thing viable at a reasonable price point.

Yeah, it may finally get down below 90 degrees :-). This summer started mild, but I'm ready for it to be over and can't wait for this. Last Sunday was the first decent day in Houston since I can't recall when. Last Saturday was miserable hot.

Average high temperature for Nov 9-10 is 73degf. One of the reasons we like the dates we were so fortunate to get.
