Thanks for starting these threads Ray!

I'm going to stay with Alonso for the third race in a row. The Ferrari seems to be easy on tires and given that Pirelli has changed from the softs to Medium compound, look for Ferrari to make one less stop than previously anticipated.

Now that 3 races are behind us, there is a trend that I've picked up on and could be the difference in who wins the WDC this year -- still early, but it's significant and that is that the Red Bull car is not particularly fast on a heavy fuel load unlike the previous 3 years. For example, in the past, when Vettel was in the lead, he would have a 2.5 sec gap by the end of the first lap. That didn't happen this year when he was out in front. Now he hasn't been out front all the time, but he didn't run and hide is my point.

The RB comes alive in low fuel situations as we've seen in qualifying and when Vettel was on his last 10 laps of the Chinese GP even before changing tires. Almost like the 2009 season when Kimi would set the fastest lap in the Ferrari toward the very end of the race but the Ferrari was not good under heavy fuel conditions.

My podium:

Alonso
Kimi
Vettel

Rooting for Vettel, but believe Alonso will take it. The Ferrari's have the best race pace and Lotus w/o the softs will lose some of their advantage. "Best Driver" in the current best car, how can he possibly lose? Scuderia is already chilling the bubbly.

Alonso
Vettel
Kimi
Hammy

I'd like to see an Alonso-Vettel battle near the end of the race, though I picked Rosberg.

The Webber apology will be from Massa.

I agree Fernando is going to be hard to beat this year, and Massa with the same equipment is doing much better this season. I don't think that Renault has the car to consistently win; however, Kimi will win a couple of races this season and multi podiums. I think the real battle will be Fernando and Seb with Kimi a close third Now to just sit back and relax and enjoy

Alonso, Hamilton, Massa

Alonso will win the 2013 WDC (obviously) and Ferrari will win the WCC, so there is no need to go on with these pointless "who will win the race" threads.
Short of a DNF, it will be Alonso winning every race and he will once again have a 40+ point lead at the summer break.

I first read this in my email & thought that it was for real until I logged on and saw who it was from.

Team Briatore planning the rest of 2013, he's taking the picture and the third place setting.
