I have picked Fernando Alonso to win Brazil and the WDC. Fernando has finished on the podium the last four races and only trails by 13 points. I know that Seb is going to be difficult to beat, but IMO Fernando has the second best car in the field and the number one talent To me, the main X factor is the rain. Fernando is phenominal in the wet, and this could give FA the edge (I hope). For sure at the end of the race we will have another three time World Champion

Word in the paddock is that Timo Glock has been "covered" unlike 2008 when he let Lewis go by on the last corner of the last lap of the last race and deny Massa the WDC. Don't know if there is going to be any other jokers in the bunch, but if it rains, anything can happen.
I'd love to see what the odds makers have this race at.

Not that it means much, but one of my favorite F1 moments is Hulkenburg putting the Williams on pole in the wet in Brazil. I hope qualifying is that good this year.
My vote is for Webber, I think Seb might be on a conservative strategy, if Horner can control him, and himself. Fernando is an awesome driver in a good car - equal to Lotus maybe but slower than RBR and Mclaren. He will be lucky to be on the podium. I do predict him to finish ahead of Petrov in this championship finale, but Grosjean might give him trouble.

IIRC, DRS is disabled when the cars are on full wets, but what about inters?
Interesting to see if anyone gambles on qualifying with wet settings based on current Sunday forecast.

My heart wants Kimi to win, Fred to finish second and Seb far enough back he looses the championship.
My brain believes Seb can drive like the wind and despite Freds great driving skill his talent cannot overcome the F cars deficiencies.
Then theres the rain equation and Kimi...........cant wait

I like that order. Alonso 1, Hamilton 2, Grosjean 3. I would like to see Hamilton get enough points (and Kimi not) so that Hamilton finishes in 3rd place for the year. Not that I dislike Kimi, I feel Hamilton has raced his butt off this year. Minus the mechanical and early Pit crew miscues Hamilton would have been in the mix for the Championship.

Vettel will be champion if he finishes in the top four, even if Alonso wins; if he finishes fifth, sixth or seventh if Alonso doesn't win; if he finishes eighth or ninth if Alonso finishes third or lower; or no matter where he finishes (or doesn’t finish) if Alonso fails to make the podium.
Alonso will be champion if he wins and Vettel is fifth or lower; if he is second and Vettel is eighth or lower; or if he is third and Vettel is 10th or lower.

This year, there is somewhat of a "pressure" situation iF THERE IS RAIN. Not that Vettel is bad in the rain, but in the dry, it's almost a given the RBR is going to be up front. Although with a 13 pt lead, the pressure is less. As Raj said, I look back to 2008 when all Hamilton had to do was finish 5th or higher and he chocked under pressure.
Regardless of the outcome, this has got to be one of the most exciting seasons ever. The fact that we started the year with 7 or 8 different winners, saw the first wins for several drivers and now after 20 races, it all comes down to this? Simply Awesome!!!

I think team orders will be interesting.....Alonso needs vettle to DNF to safely win it.

I would put nothing past Ferrari to do whatever it took to win this weekend.
Montezemolo: "I needa a favor, capiche?"
Cosa Nostra: "Luca, si. Da German, he gonna have a accident."
M: "Massa can help, Maldonado and Grojean too"
CN: "Buono"
Go Vettel!

Simpler to just give Timo a new Ferrari...it would be a bookend to his McLaren SLR.
