I think RB is not gonna be as strong as usual since Brazil is pretty bumpy.
McLaren on top, then RB & F neck and neck in race pace.

Somehow I think Alonso will pull the win (cars in front of him DNF or have other problems) but where Vettel lands is the question.
If he wins, shut up everyone.

Regardless, I'm bummed that the season is over, its been really great!

I was under the impression that RBR has a record of being competitive at Interlagos.

I spoke with a co-worker who lives in Brazil (he is going to the race) and he said heavy rains are a possibility for Sunday. IIRC, Interlagos has poor drainage, so it should be an interesting day for Charlie Whiting.

Better than last few years for sure. Always want to go to Belgium for that race.

Vettel will win the title if...
* He finishes in the top four
* He finishes fifth, sixth or seventh and Alonso is second or lower
* He finishes eighth or ninth and Alonso is third or lower
* He finishes 10th or lower and Alonso fails to make it onto the podium

Alonso will win the title if...
* He wins the race and Vettel is fifth or lower
* He finishes second and Vettel is eighth or lower
* He finishes third and Vettel is 10th or lower

Massa said if they are gonna pull that move again, he will drive with a "broken" gearbox...

Even though Alonso said he was proud of his team doing the "broken gearbox" move at US GP, I doubt they'll have ***** to do that in Brazil, someone would probably kill Alonso if they did...

Nah, Massa is the bowling ball in T1. Alonso following closely behind.

That's what I am thinking. I hope I am wrong, I will gladly eat my words if I am, but I predict Massa will be taking his front wing to the side of Vettel's right rear tire going into turn #1 on the 1st lap giving the German a puncture. As I said I hope I am wrong. I would prefer to see the drivers decide the race by allowing both contenders to fight it out on the track for every lap. But my prediction is that Massa will be ordered to take Vettel out.

IMO, the best bet for Fernando is if it rains. Hamilton is one of the better drivers in the wet and with him on pole, Seb and Fernando will be playing catchup. I believe that Hamilton is correct. He was quoted as saying he beat Seb at the USGP because he wanted it MORE If that is correct, then I think that Fernando wants it more than Seb, the issue is if he can keep Seb far enouogh behind to get enough points My money is still on Alonso and the prancing horse

Alonso must podium....period. The scenarios have already been posted in this thread.
Therefore Hamilton, Button and Webber must DNF or make massive mistakes. Isn't that asking a bit much?

Assuming Massa doesn't take a 5 spot gearbox penalty (clearly it is the right thing to do...I expect Ferrari to make that move, especially since precedence has been set and AFAIK, it is not illegal under the rules), he will let Alonso by (no matter if Massa is faster or slower than Alonso).
I also believe Webber will reluctantly let Vettel by IF Vettel is truly faster.

Ferrari's best hope is for an alternator failure or DNF for Vettel.

Of course, there is the Timo Glock effect to consider....

Don't kid yourself....Massa will do exactly what he is told to do by his employer.
