Paul,
What I said to you was that I was not required to kowtow to you on the race track. We came up on a slower car. I went to the inside and you went to the outside. Unfortunately for you, the slower car also went to the outside. That's life on the race track. Nothing intentional. The responsibility to pass that car safely was yours. I made the pass to the inside just fine.
As for the other matter, just so we are clear, you borrowed my wheels for a race in April. I asked you for them back and you refused. I needed them so I took them back, dismounted your tires at my expense, and mounted my own tires.
When someone lends you something, you return it promptly and in the same condition in which it was leant to you. You don't inconvenience the person who did you a favor and the favor shouldn't cost the lender any money.
When I asked you for them back the proper response from you should have been, "Sure, I'll go get my tires taken off and bring them back in a jiffy." You had three days at the track to accomplish that. In fact, you should have returned them to me after the April race. You didn't ask me if you could continue to use them.
It's pretty simple. The wheels are, after all, mine and you had plenty of wheels of your own to use.

Moving on, here is Orange Sprint 2
Bela made two mistakes Saturday.
1: He gave me some very good set up advice
2: He hit the gators inside T11 a little too hard
All kidding aside, great racing with you Bela. Very close a few times but always fair. Best racing experience I've had ever!

REALLY??? I think you should read what you just wrote carefully and if it's not obvious who's the one in the wrong, well, I guess I just don't know what to say except don't ever come looking to "borrow" something from me.

Paul,
That is the exact language I used.
I had the wheels dismounted at 11 am. Not my problem if you didn't notice them sitting at the end of your trailer. You had three days to dismount your Hoosiers (can't use the Hoos in SPB so why have them?), mount your rains on those wheels and return mine to me.
You had no right to assume that the wheels I leant you in April were yours indefinitely. You did not have permission to use them past the race in April. You didn't ask me if you could continue to use them. It is not unreasonable to assume that I will need my wheels when I travel to an away race. You didn't consider that. You just quietly kept them for over a month. How classy is it to put me in a position to go to an away race without enough wheels?
They are my wheels. I took them back. End of story.
Nice to meet you Pedro!

Wow... I'd have gotten the wheels back and then taken something else and refused to give it back...

Everything coming out of you as you hide behind your all powerful keyboard is spin. Wheels were sitting there at the start of the 2pm Sprint race.
When we unpacked for the weekend after we drove to the Glen together and after I gave you the last name banner for your windshield I made for you as gift, I reminded you that I had those 2 wheels of yours from the April 28th race and would bring them to you right after this weekend.
Keep spinning it.
As for the on track incident and the words used.. Whatever.

The facts:
The wheels are mine
You have had them since April
I asked you to return them
You refused to return them
I took them and paid to have your tires removed
You had other wheels to use, no need to keep mine
And to reinforce fact number 1: The wheels are mine.
Just in case you still don't understand, the wheels were mine and you did not ask if you could continue to use them past the race weekend in April.
And if you still don't get it: The wheels are mine. You didn't ask if you could continue to use them.

Back at you VR! Fun weekend for sure. Someday I'm going to have to get you in my car. Apparently I need someone to check my hood pins and find me about 1.8 seconds!
