Fun track. It was substantially upgraded (pavement and run-off) over the past two seasons. Off-track facilities are a little low-brow, but that's not why you go! It's one of the featured iRacing tracks.

PS: The above applies to the "main" circuit. There are two other circuits that are less appealing. Better than a day at the office, but not the greatest tracks.

Worth the drive. Very fast, with just about every type of turn, high speed sweeper, climbing uphill, big pucker downhill (if you're fast), hairpin, interesting carousel and long straight makes this a great 2 mile track.

First time I drove it, I said "what's the big deal with this, it is boring." After couple of more times, it has become one of my favorites, every inch counts on every part of the track, difficult to get a full perfect lap, hence quite challenging for me.

Its not on a grand scale like VIR or the Glen, but there's a lot of challenge packed into 2 miles of track. Great combination of gut check turns and tricky technical turns. Gret fun to drive, and hard to master.
There's been a lot of baseline repaving and improvement work done over the last two years. The lap times at last year's club race were on average the lowest we've ever seen.

I know her well. She is a dirty little trick tucked away on the VA and WV border. She gives you a really good ride that you remember for a loong time and just can't wait to come back for a second stint. She is really complicated and hard to figure out but when you learn how to tickle her happy bits she opens up and melts in your hands.

Unfortunately, you don't usually want to brag about her to all your friends as she is rough around the edges and pretty unsophisticated.

By the downhill do you mean the kink before the entry into the carousel? That is a hairy area for sure, need to blast through fast and get the car balanced quick or you are in for a ride in the braking zone! It's now one of my favorite tracks, I think a lot of us "Yankees" had it grow on them after the 2010 race..

Loads of fun. A little bit of everything. The Chute and T9 can bite! The facilities are getting upgraded and a new garage, Stasis, is under construction.

Worth a visit for sure.

Great track(s). And extra zesty explosions and automatic weapons fire nearby frequently perk up the experience!

Since I've been traveling to the Washington DC area so frequently these days, in an attempt to sway certain government officials... a good amigo thought that dragging my wazoo out to this West Virginia ***** house called Summit Point would do me a world of good.

Challenge accepted!!!

Default many thanks for all the input from every Redneck hereabouts!

Will avoid any run-off areas chock-full of that kitty litter though. Sitting there with the useless spinning wheels is simply embarrassing and pretty sad

I'll post a pic.

I think he is referring to the caterer for the Club Race, believe it's a local BBQ place.. What you want to avoid is being behind someone that has run through the pea gravel in the traps as it will blast your paint off quite well.
