Correct. Take a right and it is on the left just down the road.

Default This is semi-importante!

What is the general condition of the road surface like here? West Virginia winters aren't that kind I'm guessing.

Surface is good, I drove there last month.

The cafe is much better than the track but it's only a sandwich place.

Maryland has some drag racing tracks but no road courses. This state is what you would call regressive although they call themselves progressive. I only live here because I am looking after my 90 year old Dad. When he meets his maker I will return to the land of palm trees.

Some of these tracks around the country are darnright scary. Not that i've had much experience driving on the east coast. California stuff is in pretty good shape though.

You sound like a good son dude, sure your father appreciates you being there for him, as you appreciate the time you're spending together. You speaking Florida palm trees?

Well I was a bad son in my early days so trying to make up for my knuckle head years. My Dad always stood behind me through thick and thin.

I lived in the Bay area for 15 years before moving back here, but California's economy is not in great shape presently. The Florida Keys use to be a special place but I haven't been there in 20 years. I keep thinking to go down for a couple of weeks and see how it has changed. Either way, I hate winter.

Sounds like a good man.

California over Florida any day amigo. Why not try SoCal as a change? Warmer and all the gals have bigger *****. The Keys have too many drunk and stoned Parrotheads floating around.

Was going to have my pals over @ SEAL Team 6 reconnoiter an appropriate eatery around the Summit Point area before we land. It's important don't 'cha know?

Don't care for mediocre chow.

Frank, on that link directly above, there is a section called "track talk" and at the top of the page you can click on "track videos" to get a taste for the place.

Reckon I could always grill my buddy whose cars I'll be flinging about that place soon enough. He's been there quite enough.

Good call on viewing the tape before the game. Truthfully track conditions have never really worried me that much over the years. It's just one part of the equation to be factored into the run.
