Good question. When I looked up the info on the bar I missed that there was a choice! This bar was in my 996 GT3 so I think it must be the non-sunroof version, although I do not recall that there were two versions available when I bought it.

For coupes only? Or would it work in MY 2000 Convertible? Thx.

I have not seen this roll bar in a cab, and it is not advertised as fitting. Here is where you can read more about it: https://www.dassport.com/store/produ...-%2798-to-2011

Chris:
If the bar fit tight against the headliner, then you have a non-sunroof version. The sunroof version will fit in a non sunroof car, but you will have close to a 3/4" gap to the headliner. This bar is for the coupe. DAS has a specific bar for the cabriolet and it is very different.

Thanks, Mark. The bar fits tight against the headliner: it's the non-sunroof version.

The cab roll bar is very different because there are all ready aluminum braces that tie into the strut tops on a cab which would not allow this bar to fit.
