Prior to my first time there, I borrowed a Playstation game that had the track on one of the racing games. I still got lost for the first session or two. I would highly recommend the Thursday test day.

Watch a lot of video's, study the track...it's flat and 17 turns...ask a lot of questions. Sebring is my home track if you have any questions.

Semi-pro coaching sounds like the right answer to me..

I'm going to Sebring for the 1st time January 22nd,23rd with Chinmotorsports.com.
Loads of track time (3.5 hours per day) and a fun/safe group of people. They also have fairly low limit on the number of participants so the time on track is very enjoyable.
I believe they also rent a Spec Miata for arrive and drive.

Paolo:
Contact Scott at Werkstatt Charlottesville. He's looking to rent the silver Spec Boxster. I have raced this car and it's a good car. Just gas and god every time I have driven it.

Design & Build a Teleportation machine... To get me there without the 24 hr drive.

That way I can study track data and be rested... instead of being "Dog *** tired"

Paolo,
I'm going down for the PBOC event 1/12-16. If you go to this event you could race or run DE which would allow you to get seat time before the club race. It's a great event that has a bunch of options for driving.
I'm leaving one of my transporters at Sebring between the events which would give you 2 events with one transport. Racing your car is the most economical way to race( you already knew that)

I will also be at Sebring for this PBOC event, coaching & possibly co-driving the night race.

Paolo

Come on down to PBOC! I'll loan you a Smarty Cam for the weekend if you are with Dan. You can take your video (and many more that I have) home with you to study for the PCA race. This is a bumpy track but I really like it, probably as much as Watkins Glen. When you prep the car tighten all of the rear toe and camber bolts extra tight. The track is rough and I lost my camber settings in the rear until I used a longer bar to tighten the bolts.

I'll be there also. If you'd like to say hi, look for the Lapis Blue Boxster S with #88.

Going this weekend also. Was on the waiting list to be an instructor and was called by Chin last minute to fill in as an instructor on Saturday, then the coaching with Chris Hall on Sunday. Should be a great weekend!

Watch as much video as you can and just show up. That's all I did.

Expect bumpiness far beyond anything you've ever experienced. Once you know where the track goes work on going fast in Turn 1 and Bishop Bend. Many cars can do Bishop Bend flat out.

The club race will be my first time to Sebring and first time driving a cup car, I'll be letting a bunch of cars around me promise! Iracing helped a ton for RA and I hope it helps for down there too. My question is where do you fly to, Orlando or Tampa?
