Sebring.........
If it were your first time there.......
If it were in a winter month.......
If it were a PCA race week-end.......
How would you prepare for it?........

Start prepping your car now:
1) Check every nut and bolt on the car. Sebring is hard on the equipment. 12 hours there is harder on the car than 24 Hours at Le Mans
2) Order fresh tires
3) Pack a spare set of brake pads
4) Get as much advice from Fred C as possible
5) Watch lots of in car video
6) See numbers 1-5
I am sure others will chime in

Just go and drive. If you are comfortable in the car then there is nothing to worry about. Only time I would feel weird if it is a new car and track. Keep as few new variables as possible. Nothing special, just drive.

I think Dan may be more focused on cars like Yours although they would all be great solutions.

I might want to try to race something a bit different than a 911.......

What I do is have the shop prep the car as usual and then provide arrive/drive support.
I know who can provide you with track support.
Getting tires there is usually not a problem (assuming you dont have a unique tire size). We nut & bolt same as we do for any other track.
Watch videos and ask for input. I will be there, feel free to stop by and ask for pointers if you think you need them.

Here is my approach.....
Buy a new car with the engine at the opposite end
register
get track support whilst you are there
watch lots of videos
spend every day counting down the minutes until February
Can you tell I am looking forwards to it?
