Also, at ~1:31 his lap wasn't that fast, considering he was on a FRESH set of tires with very little fuel while the other guys had 35-40 laps on their rubber. That was .5 secs slower than his own qualy lap and 1.5 secs slower than the fastest qualy time from Vettel. So if I were you I wouldn't publicize these results too much.

I'll publicize whatever results I please, thank you. And that lap time, regardless of what you RL armchair connoisseurs want to say, was the best of the day bar none.

Sure, best of the day, good enough for 14th place. That was the race result.

That's what the stewards' decision resulted in. Tell me something I didn't already know. You obviously didn't know the best lap time.

FA would've easily been 3rd had he been given the same preferential treatment Hamilton was given in Valencia.

Totally standard penalty for that infraction. Hell they even give the penalty out if you let the guy pass you back sometimes. Hamilton got a 25 second post race penalty taking away a win even. dropping from a possible 5-8th finish back to where he did was MUCH less painful in my mind.
This is nothing new. Hamilton in Spa 2 yrs ago. Didn't they go thru and further clarify the rule and the penalty? Alonso should know this whether she's "forced" off track or not.

And as for fast lap, it's pretty much useless. So, the cars got pace when its low on fuel. You've got to be quick when its full too. Plus, with tire strategy it doesn't represent anything important. Plain and simple raw pace is shown in quali.

Useless maybe, but not easy to pull off.

It takes quite a bit of skill to make the Ferrari fly that fast across Silverstone like FA did. Of course that goes right over all you FA haters' heads.

Or perhaps come up with a two-time WDC with FA's talent? Not!

Yep that's it, it's all the stewards fault.

They have suddenly gone anti-ferrari in a devious plot against Alonso...

The fast lap comment is downright silly. Low fuel, fresh tires. I guess Alonso getting past by Kobayashi last race under the same conditions is not relevant. Almost embarrassing to show the cars potential and garner no points. There is nothing more disappointing to me than posting a lap record, but ending up in second place.

Just ignore them Luis. Only proves some people have more time on their hand to download silly pics to prove their point.
Not worth it.

Noted, you don't like the silly pics. Perhaps a haiku?

She hit Felipe
She cut the chicane to pass
It's stewards fault

Hey Luis, lighten up man, Spain won the World Cup!

Are you really that worried about what some here think about Alonso..........at least for the next few weeks?
