Damn!!! That could clearly fix his driving. Racing has become so technical.

Gary has suggested in the past that the brake and gas pedals get switched without his knowledge, but this is an easier solution.

At the start of the video, it shows Red on the left side. I assume Red should be braking, but you're accerating there. In T11 and T1 it always shows Green. I think Red = Left turns, Green = Right Turns.

And when you're accelrating the white bar at the bottom is toward the right. Under braking it's toward the left.

Or better yet, it looks like a ChaseCam and I see a Traqmate. Buy a TraqDataII, turnoff the crappy ChaseCam display and get nicer data on the screen.

Thanks Jimbo for the info. on the chasecam box, it was pointing 90 degrees to the right.

Joe, I have the traqstudio software, but do you think I could figure out how to make it work with the video?

It would be nice to have the display on the my chasecam videos...........

When we have some time lets go over this by phone maybe so we can get it working for you. Do you just have the Traqlink cable between the Traqmate and ChaseCam or do you have the TraqdataII?

Turns out he really couldn't but there's no way he should have even been led to think he could try that....
No offense taken. It's hard to describe but I knew that Paolo was going to try to pass in that corner (based off of similar moves earlier in the race). My plan was to over/under him and I started my braking at a spot where I felt he would not be able to make the corner. Had he not spun, I'm pretty sure he would have gone very wide in turn 1 and that would have allowed me to pass him going into 2.

So, when you say it "turns out he really couldn't", I consider that as part of proof that what I was doing worked.

I believe I have the Traqlink cable set up.......

Joe, I am sure you know I would really appreciate any help on making my video and data sync.......

Sir A. Wayne: cease and desist immediately.

VR and DMD: please consider the "Ignore" feature in the interim

Let's not have a repeat of the forum "ltc takes the trash out to the curb" forum clean up from the VR-MK days...

Gentlemen,
Thank you very much.

If you feel the urge to "act out in class", I would encourage you to visit the P&C sub-forum (the Rennlist special padded forum), rather than use this Racing/DE forum.

What goes on in P&C stays in P&C and short of a homicide (and even then it depends on who the victim is), I really don't mind what goes on in there.

Certainly a plausible response and decent thinking. The only thing I will say is that it is easier to defend your position than to give it up and have to get it back...

Not only that, but there is a lot that A. Wayne could learn from Paolo about driving. Paolo certainly doesn't know everything, but he's a good ways down the learning curve, and he gets better every time he goes out on track. A. Wayne hasn't even found the learning curve yet.
