That is one of the hardest combinations. The F1 car doesn't do well in the first and last corners with those bumps. Here's my best lap of 134.0.

That was way way too much fun. Now I have another car and another track (I can see where this is going).... I was doing OK in traffic and was mostly able to keep up, but after that first crash I couldn't get back on the lead lap. That last turn going up the hill that leads into the last three turns kind of punked me a few times.

Yeah, that was really good fun. I really liked that track/car combo.

Boy, the tires really started to go away in the end though. Martin's must have gone off about earlier than mine because he started to come back to me. Then about 2 laps later, I started to pick up a huge push.

Good run for you Andrew. That was certainly trial by fire as it was a really tough combo. You did really well though for your first race. I had to pass you a couple of times and you seemed really aware of your surroundings. Later comes the speed

Thanks, I keep wanting to reach out and point people by (which I am generally not used to doing as a matter of course). I was trying to get off-line off throttle to let people go by. I think the seating posture is a big part of my problem. The game physics are amazing, and as a former software engineer, the entire game is amazing.

I also felt like the tires really started to fall off. Must be a function of the car weight. In my view, it was like a big version of the spec ford which was very very sensitive to throttle input. For the life of me, I could not figure out the hairpin, or the corkscrew.

My pops is very hot to get a "sim" like mine, and a bunch of people in my firm are very stoked to try it out when I get the chassis etc.. There will be more...

that was a fun race. I love Barber but hate the Mustang, somehow things balanced out nicely

I was pretty amazed at how much the tires dropped off after about lap 10. but, I was impressed with Martin's setup.

and for the first time ever, I ran an incident-free race! mainly because I ran in this odd no-man's-land between the front runners and everyone else

see y'all next week!

I know I have said this before, but there is a good chance I will be out there soon for a new patent case. I might convince the senior guy I work with to come to your shop with me, he has been intensely interested.

The mustang was very hard to put power down basically at all. I really only figured out barber by following you guys, and I didn't actually figure it out.

Fantastic... I really enjoy meeting you guys. It's really great putting a face to a name (or car).
