My race trailer was broken into at the race shop in Orlando this past weekend. The race car was inside the shop, but tools, lots, and lots of tools, wheels, and some spare parts went walking with a sumbitch that wanted them more than he thought I needed them.
I went to Lowes earlier today to try and quantify everything for the insurance company. As I think of all the little tools in that trailer, I know there will be something I'll need in a hurry that won't be there. Damn!!!! I'm pissed
If a thief would work as hard at stealing as he would... Oh well waste of time.

Sorry, bro. Religiously check EBay & the BMW forums to see if your stuff is for sale.

Sorry to hear that. I came home from a business trip a few years ago to find that someone had backed a truck up to my house and helped themselves to all of my tools (car and woodworking) and electronics. I managed to get a fair shake from my insurance but it was a huge hassle to get the into together.

I had a similar thing happen to me. I'm still replacing tools that were stolen. Just last night I was like "oh yeah, I need to buy that back to".
sounds like your insurance is covering you. they covered me nicely, but still an inconvenience.

Thankfully (note: sarcasm) USAA is waiving my $500 deductible and sending me a check in the amount of $250 for personal property loss. End of claim.

damn sorry about that man, that sucks... I always back my trailer up within a foot of something solid (wall, fence, pole, etc) so that the door can't be opened, but I've always been afraid of someone breaking in the side door.
