It's Official: Schumacher Replacing Massa at Ferrari
#16
With the shut down and the in season test ban, when does he get to drive the car? I think he can do great, but not without time in the car. Maybe he will get special dispensation from Bernie to test

Folks, I'm geeked up for this starting grid at Valencia.
Michael Schumacher (7 time WDC) paired with his teammate Kimi (1 time WDC)
Fernando Alonso (2 time WDC)
Lewis Hamilton (defending WDC)
Jenson Button (Leading 2009 WDC, but hanging on for dear life) Paired with Rubens Barrechello (former MS teammate)
Mark Webber (currently 2nd in the 2009 WDC and gaining quickly on the Brawn drivers) paired with Sebastian Vettel (currently 3rd in the 2009 WDC)
It's going to be a good one!!

Schumacher has never been to the Valencia course, but I'm smelling podium at Spa. A thing of beauty seeing him go up Eau Rouge

This is a top 10 Rennlist thread to this point!
This development is brilliant for F1 which is on the brink of disaster. The audience for Valencia will be the strongest in years.

Coming for the first time to a track never stopped Schumacher from being quick there. If he and the car are up to it he will do well. I have a feeling he will do what he usually does. Finish better than the car deserves.

Holy crap, I would've never believed that he'll do it.
Great news though, this will for sure draw a lot of good attention (something Formula 1 has lacked with the whole Max fiasco) and believe he can do good. As already said, he's a very quick learner and proved he still is super quick when he last time tested an F1 car so getting back to the "groove" will not be a problem.
Kimi surely won't have a easy weekend if he wants to keep Schumi behind.
Man, Bernie must be rolling on the floor from sheer happiness and hearing his cash register screaming in over time. Same thing for Valencia organizers, they were struggling big time but with this, will have noooo problem filling their stands.
Hey guys, you remember who were the team mates last time there were two WDC's as team mates..?
Senna & Prost in 1989.

Hate to remind you Finn, but Fisi was never in contention....
