Russell, you can, presuming your car will rotate smoothly thru 5. Again, the "bowl" efect really helps hold most cars here IMO. A lot of folks FEEL as if their car will lose control, but in reality it won't unless they surprise it here. It is very fast, and, as George said, a lot of folks give up way too much time here by driving out and then back. When you drive that section clockwise, see how well it works as a double apex sweeper. In reality, it works as such going CCW as well.

Generally? Shouldn't that be a yes or no answer? Somehow I doubt that you've sat down with someone and reviewed data about specific t5 lines, but since we're online it's not like we can tell if you're telling the truth or not. Just sounds like a BS answer if you ask me...

Well, guess what, Greg? I didn't ask you, and no one else did either. And I really could not care less what you doubt. I have indeed reviewed said data, whether you choose to believe it or not.

Why don't you ask Mr. Cervelli why he chose that line in the video where he set a track record? How many track records have you set at TWS? Geezus...

Oh, and by the way, no it won't be yes or no because (a) track conditions change, (b) cars change (c) tire conditions change (d) et cetera.

What is it with you children? Don't you have homework to do?

BTW - If anyone is going to the nasa race @ MSR-Houston this weekend, I am available for coaching. If you are one of DLS' customers I'll do it for free

On a more serious note, I will have my lap top with MoTeC, Stack, AIM, RaceTech, Traqmate, and *barf* G2X software.. I can navigate all pretty well if anyone needs any free data analysis.

Are you really trying to take credit for Cervelli's line through T5?

Nope.

But he sure as **** is a lot faster than you, Big Bird.

Your jealousy is palpable. Sorry no one is willing to pay you for your "expertise", such as it is. Heck, even your few friends are puzzled at your disturbing obsession with me, which leads you to follow me to several other web sites besides this one.

You're a broken record Dave.

Oh, the IRONY.

You are making quite the spectacle of yourself, Ryan. Sorry you are the only one not to see it.

Those are 4 wheel drive. Not in the same ballpark...

IIRC, the 997TT also weighs in the neighborhood of 3,500 pounds.

What is the preferred miata line (fast laps, not defensive laps) through T5/6? I've been displacing the T5 apex by just about a half car width there (inside the 'seam'), but I have only driven a miata there once and will be the first to admit that I don't know **** about it.

My race car can take T5 with a small lift on entry and WOT until I need to trail into T6. Most cars can get close to WOT, even if they aren't fully prepared.

I need to get a traqmate and test this theory out.
