Latest at autosport- looks like "honda" will be back and Rubens will still be driving for them, along with Jensen, and that Senna is pissed he didn't get a ride...
this should be a very interesting year, and it's not that far off!!!

Renault threatens to leave F1
04 March 2009
The Renault team is making threats to depart from Formula One if it fails to see its share of commercial revenues rise. It is expected that the French marque will make these feelings clearly known when the Formula One Teams' Association (FOTA) meet in Switzerland tomorrow.
According to Patrick Pelata, Renault wants to receive a larger share of the revenue shared out amongst the teams. The company must also reduce its overheads by more than just the agreed cost-cutting techniques discussed with the other teams, the Chief Operating Officer explained. "We're seeking to bring down contract costs and receive more of the revenues" (such as sponsorship, television rights and circuit fees) he told Bloomberg.
In Geneva tomorrow, the manufacturer will present its thoughts to FOTA; the current agreement sees the teams splitting the revenues amongst themselves and Formula One Management whose founder, Bernie Ecclestone, replied to Pelata's remarks: "I'm suprised he would come out with something like that. We're got an agreement with the teams until 2013 and we'll stick with that."
Following Honda's withdrawal from F1 at the start of December, Pelata has admitted that Renault are contractually bound to to run in this year's championship and did not comment on when they would be looking to leave the sport in the event of no solution being found.
