You could divide those pressures in half to get my hot NT01/RA1 pressures. (For cold pressures, I start in the teens.)

Car weight with drover please??

People smarter than me have indicated that lighter weight cars on RA1s lower pressures worked better. I'm at 2840 lbs., operater included and have seen pressures as low as 32 hot feeling good.

I'm at about 2600-2700 with driver, depending on aero and whether I'm running a cool shirt. I've run low and mid-20's hot with good success. But I'm also running 275/315 rubber, which is pretty wide relative to my weight. I would never run them over 30 hot.

Just did 8 track days on previously auto x-ed R888's (Same compound?) over-driving the 3200# GT3
The R888 seemed the best at 30-32F (Dash showing 26-28) and 32-34 (Dash showing 30-32).
I start cold 24 all around to get there.

A bit higer seemed less grip and the tires wore on the inside more than lower pressure wearing more on the outside with -1.8 Camber F and -2.5 R.

Wow, that seems low but??? I started running RA's in the 34 hot range and really liked it. Will be stepping up to 275's all around on a 2,500lb car (with driver). Might have to give the lower pressures a try. I haven't tried the NTO1 yet, but I am planning on trying them as my non-race tire for next season.

When I ran RA1's, depending on the track, I would generally start then around ~25 front and ~22 rear for best results (as confirmed with a probe pyrometer). Anecdotal evidence suggests ~2 lbs less with the NT01's.

Have burned through 2 sets of NT-01's and found them to be tires with good feedback before letting go. At Road Atlanta with car weight of 3385# my starting pressures of 29 left and 30 right worked well for a 20-25 minute sessions. Ending pressures were 38/39 most times and performance was consistent with good stability early-on, unlike the Michelin slicks I now possess.

I found their straight-line tractability second to none. My 996 tt has a bit more HP/tq tha average and it is the only tire that would hold the straight-line power application in 2nd gear. First is out of the question with any tire that I know. Comparitive tires were Hoosier R6 and Michelin racing slicks, S8 cmpd.

I got mine from Discount Tire Direct. Pretty good prices. Good sizes. I run 17-inch wheels, and they have the NT01 in any size I could want:

Size - Price
205/40ZR-17 80W BLK $154.00
215/45ZR-17 87Z BLK $161.00
225/45ZR-17 91W BLK $169.00
235/40ZR-17 90W BLK $163.00
245/45ZR-17 95W BLK $179.00
255/40ZR-17 94Z BLK $178.00
275/40ZR-17 98W BLK $207.00
315/35ZR-17 102Z BLK $227.00

http://stores.ebay.com/Discount-Tire-Direct (use 'store search' on the left) That's the eBay Discount Tire Direct store. Generally cheaper than through the company, free shipping, occasional 5%discounts, and live.com discounts(up to 30% if available).

Discount Tire locally. By the time I pay shipping and then fees to someone else to mount and balance, it's just about a wash.

I bought mine at Bimmerworld. Same price as Discount Tire, slighltly more than Discount's Ebay store, but I would rather give my business to a friend & a company that has helped me out a lot.
