thanks guys...not my year (good to see you posting on Rennlist Dick)

Way to go Fred and Charlie!

Congrats to Gary R for his second in D in the first sprint.

Fred is going to surprise some guys in the higher classes in the enduro.

Default Best race ever

Just heard from Jupe, who has declared the NJMSP race the best race ever. Apparently everyone there is declaring this the best race ever, regardless of where they placed.

One of the sponsors of the race had arranged for Grid Girls at this race. At the race dinner tonight, the sponsor gave an award called "The shirt off his back" award to the organizer of the race. "He's such a great guy, he'd give you the shirt off his back..." And then one of the grid girls came up, took off her shirt, and gave it to the guy with a hug.

It has been a great race weekend! We had a little booboo in sprint1 after several back and forth passes for the overall lead with Mike Bavaro (good to see him back out there!) and Chris Musante, but came back and had a fun sprint2. I had several passes on Musante but held out for the win.

I think I saw Fred take off, I guess he had enough winning!

I may codrive in GTC3 in the enduro.

I posted 2 fast qualifying laps on youtube, user analogracing

Have fun!

best race ever. Andy and I battled nose to tail in both races. I think we went side by side thru T1 & T2 at least half the time (video to come soon) and must have swapped positions 15 times total! I got to witness the Musante/Analog battle (as they lapped me!) and it also looked epic.

Despite looking tight, this is a very fun track to race on. You really have to setup passes several corners in advance. No doubt I will be back next year!

A big thanks to Princeton Porsche for the best track dinner ever.

Psst, I am in GTC1 not C, Dear...

Thank you, Alex @ Princeton Porsche. Grid Girls should become mandatory for all races....

I was kind of down on the track at first but I must say that it has really grown on me. I, too, will be back!

I will not do the enduro. I am back home.

Sean, sorry about the tranny. This sucks. Hopefully you will be up and running in no time. This was going to be a podium-filled weekend for you.

Gary got rear-ended in the brake zone at T6 in sprint 2. He packed up as well. Too bad, he was running real strong and was on his way to finish 2nd. He did real well in sprint 1, finishing 2nd in class.

Colin and Andy had a really intense race in sprint 1. It was fun to watch.

Many thanks to the Schattenbaum region for putting together a kick-*** event and to Princeton Porsche for making it possible. I will be back next year.

Vito, Sean, and Gary (in particular), thanks for helping me out throughout the weekend. It was my first unsupported event since i started club racing last year and because of you guys, it went real well. Hairydogggrage (Dan Jacobs) did an awesome job prepping the car and finally fixing the ignition/injection issue!

F troop results are;

Race 1

Charles Belluardo
Joe Mansfield
Richard Hubell

Race 2 ( I left before the actual score sheets were posted)

I think the guys ahead of me were;

Brian Paulsen
Charles Belluardo
David Nazaroff, I know this for a fact because he got me with a lap or so to go.

Great 2 days of racing at a real fun track........

Schattenbaum did a great job as host.
