the biggest news is that with no "Master Chef", I didn't bring the grill and we were stuck eating track "food".

All kidding aside, it was a good first day with no incidents. The weather even held out most of the day. I believe that all was good with the track.

Paolo, the qualifying took place during the third practice session. During the 4th session, they held practice starts and a fun race. With the weather, only a limited number of cars participated in the fun races.

and in the DE portion of the event, all I can say is that Bobby C. looked like he just stepped out of GQ Magazine with his Stand21 suit and nomex shirt.

Fred is flying in D. His car is finally back to form. He qualified on pole for the group ahead of E. I lost my transmission at the start of qualifying and went home. Gary is second in D and running great. E is a little hard to figure because Steve B and Chris R both had mechanicals in the morning, Mark W is in the mix as well. Should be some great sprints today.

Joel is on the outside of the front row qualifying ahead of everyone but one I car. He should have another great day.

Analog Mike is really moving, so is Chris Musante.

Pretty tricky little track. It's eating tires.

There are more flies there than people in all of NJ.

Looks like Jupe took first in C class in both sprints today. 38D and Jenks battled it out in both races, too, with 38D taking 2nd in the last lap of both sprints.
