Burning Brakes
Was that spin due to getting drilled in the *** by the fvckwitz who tried to pinch in on the run down to that corner ? Can't really comment until it's clear whether it was an "unforced error" or somebody "helped you with your understeer".

It seems since the end of the video shows damage to the back of your car that your spin was because that guy "helped you".
I just can't understand that driver's actions at all, if this was "real racing" (= pro), I could but in club racing which is done just for fun, I can't. Completey unneccesary in that level, I know there are guys in club racing who really aren't that talented (although if this guy is an IMSA champ, you'd think he should be) but I didn't know some of those not so talented think that because they have money for a fast car and fixing it, they can do whatever they want to others who are better & faster than they are.

Were there any prior issues with that car earlier in the weekend? Or during the racing that could've caused him anger? I wasn't there that weekend, just throwing more questions out there

That is a tough one. The spinning car had to overslow to make the pass coming out of T5 and the car behind didn't give enough racing room coming out. It didn't appear the in-car driver did anything wrong

looks intentional to me.

Some of the starts were downright terrifying from a spectator's point of view, coming into 1, especially the 90 minute enduro. There was at least one cup that looked like a tin can that got stepped on.

One more point & please correct me if I'm wrong but, it appears these cars weren't even in a class battle. I believe the car being overtaken was a GTC4 car which makes the initial contact into 5 & the following spin even more ridiculous
PS: This year did have a much higher carnage level then I ever remember seeing running in this run group the previous three years.

That sucks. It started bad from the straight where the car in front of you made a gesture to drift over to the right (very minor blocking) giving little room left of right for the pass. You did a nice job of not forcing the issue and dive bombing on the first attempt. Next turn, he assumed you do the same and covered to the right, then back left (two moves) to get a run on the turn. Next run up you had a good draft and maybe some extra hp he drifted right again, but lost you in his mirrors bumping into you while still a nose ahead. I thought you cleared him before turning to the apex then the main impact. The only explanation I can come up with is he thought the first bump was your fault (not even close) and got a red mist going.
