Hope you can get that car back together and get back in the seat.

I've raced against Jess on multiple occasions and always found him to be a gentleman and extremely competent on a track. He's one tough SOB to get around, and he'll never give up, but I've never seen him cause any issues. Additionally he's a chick magnet and fun to hang around with in the pits....

Fwiw, I think all this chopping talk is because guys are either ignorant or playing chicken as someone said earlier. You do not have to give up the corner if you're being contested for it! Go ask some of the H cars that started to get passed me in the first part of the purple sprint (I was driving Brian P's Boxster S) when the front sway bar drop link failed. Guys would motor up behind me, pull out, brake, and guess what? There I was following his door handle through the turn. No block, no chop, no give up, just "hey, if you want to pass, you're going on a small arc, buddy". I'll give you your space if you're alongside me, just don't expect me to over-slow, lose momentum, and "give up" - oh and be prepared to make space at track-out because I'll still be there until your hp kicks in. Note that in some cases I was happy to over-slow and try the "tuck under and re-pass" technique. It is often particularly effective in Turn 1 which is relatively wide and it can be advantageous to be on the inside going into 2, too.

Jess - You are A-OK in my book, move on and prepare for your/our next race. We dice it up out there and stuff is GOING to happen. You are NOT the bad guy here, and I for one look forward to showing you E guys what for next time we meet. Sleep well, you did nothing but make a racing move that went bad. Stop kicking yourself and move on!

Anyone tired of getting chopped by people like this, try a DE. We don't have that problem.
