Well why not change belts after every event then?

At my first PCA DE I was told I wasted my money buying a Schroth 2" lap belt harness. Why? Because a 2" is not as safe as a 3"......
Whoever told you that is very much mistaken. For most people, 2" lap belts fit better and actually perform better.
