It's about that time. Let's go racin'!!
Should be quite the show with a bunch of really fast "D" cars. Just can't wait till the combined Sprint and Enduro. It oughta be fun.

I've been busting my *** getting my car ready. New wheels, tires ( Falken Azenis rt-615), wheel studs, machining hub centers, oil cooler, water injection, thermostate...... This car owns me.

Kurt, make sure you save some energy for the track - a 3-day DE in conjunction with the club race could end up giving you close to twice as much track time as a regular DE.

Good Luck Jeff. I hope they open up additional viewing areas for the spectators - can't see as much action from the club house, and that place could get crowded.

Since Ken Laborde seems to have bailed out on the event, looks like I'm only running against Seth Higgins in my class. Should still be a blast. I see 7 Spec Boxsters on the list, looks like Mark Foley is coming here all the way from SoCal? At least I will get a chance to see some of the action.

I just heard our SpecBoxster.com buddy, Mark, left San Diego yesterday afternoon. He was around El Paso earlier & plans to make Odessa tonight. Now that's dedication!

I went out to MSR yesterday to run a couple of sessions with Jeff W. and Barry. After soaking my suit with sweat I promptly walked over to PST and bought a Cool Shirt system. It wasn't even that hot yesterday but just the dehydration factor made me worry about that Enduro on Monday with highs forcasted to be 95 and heat index values over 100. I guess i'm just a pussee.
