How would you rate your driving skill level.

I think there are plenty of votes to bring some closure to this.
The question comes from some data that is part of the Street Survival program. The question is about how you rate yourself - it would completely defeat the purpose to assign detailed descriptions of the ranking. That would not produce an opinion, rather a survey of skill/experience level. I wanted to ask this group because there was no data from a group of experienced drivers.
So here is what previous surveys showed:
Teen drivers enrolled in Street Survival ranked themselves at an average of 8.1
Their parents ranked their own skills at 8.5
Michael Schumacher ranked himself at a 6 (which seems ridiculously low, but he has a much better perspective oh how much more he could learn that I do about him.
This group averaged 6.2
This is mainly to help make the point that the more you know about driving, the more you understand that you suck at it. I know the data was slightly skewed by being public, but I also wanted to see if there was any notable division between racers, DE, AutoX and fun performance drivers.
Thanks. Now if we want to chat about how terrifying it is that those drivers with so little experience think they are an 8, then that will be an interesting topic. If someone wants an experience/skill survey, then I suggest a new poll where each level is clearly defined and there is little subjectivity to the answer.

Awww, geez, I just voted before seeing how others are ranking themselves... (were did ALL this humility come from?)
I said I'm an 8/10, because I figure I'm a better than average driver... But if the hot shoes here are giving themselves 6's and 7's, I'd like to change my vote to a 6. (average is 5, so I'm a little better than average).
Edit: I thought I was a lot better than I was when I was consistently running in 2nd, 3rd or 4th. When I finally lead a race, (and wasn't following anyone), I realized how much more I had to learn...

A small anecdote about F1 skills: You'd think Michael Schumacher would be the fastest driver in pretty much any car at Ferrari's own Fiorano test track, right? Sure, he holds the F1 car record there...
However, Ferrari's primary test driver, Dario Benuzzi, is actually faster than Schumi in production Ferraris.
F1 skills are applicable to F1 only, IMO...

Having had the distinct honor of riding in my car with Dario at No Problem Raceway on Saturday, I cannot imagine how anyone could have more control over a high performance street car.
If Dario is a 9.5, I'm about a 3.
See you soon.

I finally answered one of these darn polls right. I knew I couldn't be a 1 because I have seen worse, so I gave myself a 2. Need a lot more seat time before I'll see 3.
O.T. Mark , do you still have your Stohr? I am shopping around for either a first generation or WF1 . Would like some unbiased info.

I think another factor may be skill per what car one is driving...one could be brilliant (say a true 9 on this scale) in his/her car which he/she has run for 25 years...maybe even to the pt where NO ONE could run faster in it...but then you get in another car and your completely average. On the flipside, what if one could hit a 7 in EVERYTHING he/she drove? How do you think this would factor in?
This is a really interesting topic...

With this info things are a little different. If was to rate myself on how well my
Street Survival droving is I would say about a 9. After 33 years plus in every kind of droving conditions and literally millions of miles.
Droving on the track is a whole different ball game. When taking this poll on a racing/DE forum it is assumed your speaking of droving on the track.
So in my mind you need 2 separate polls if your talking about Street vs Track.
