Crapola. I ran out of time, and never got to ride with you (and several other folks). Apologies.

Hey Mark, thanks again for the loan of the floorjack so I could remove all the hay that my poor little BMW scooped up underneath. I have a feeling I'll be finding grass and debris in every nook and cranny under that car for a long time.

EDIT: I just reread your post and we may be talking a different spot... I'm talking about coming out of the big left hander (Turn 10) just before you make that slight right hand bend back to the old track. I did a couple of things wrong there. I was anxious to pass a car that I'd been behind in the new section and he had indicated he was going to give me the point after turn 10, so I was pinching my line to the inside more to go around him on the left after the turn instead of tracking all the way out. In addition, I put the hammer down too hard on the throttle to get going past him and the M Coupe has more than enough torque to break the rear tires loose. Which it did. And that's when I ran out of talent...
There's gotta be nothing more funny to the driver of a car that is about to be passed as to see the would-be passer disappear in a cloud of dust behind you.![Big Grin](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

From your description of your turn 10 incident, that sounds like more an issue of drover not being used to the car than anything else. Seems to me that turn is built for 911's. I can imagine just how that would happen to you in the bimmer after being accustomed to a car with the engine in the proper place. The story of your wife turning on the ac is priceless. A real HWFMR moment if you ask me. hmm....

Yeah, turn 5 is where the M3 got beat up. Looked like he ran out of track out and apparently there is something there that beat up his car. He came to a stop on the track at the end of the braking zone for turn 6 right where the pit lane empties onto the track.

Hey VR. Thanks for the pointers on Sunday morning! I checked my TraqMate this evening. Best lap on our ride was 2:38.592. Final Sunday afternoon session, best lap was 2:36.909! WOW! Where'd those (almost) two seconds come from????? Yuri Bebic's best time in the May Club Race was 2:33.711. Still have LOTS of work to do, but my best time in May was 2:43.596. I may have to buy you a beer (or three) my man!
Thanks for all your pointers. I really worked the braking into Rattlesnake hard the rest of Sunday. I think I may be getting the hang of it - just a little.
Toby

Toby it was a pleasure, as always. That is a very nice improvement!!! Those remaining tenths will come from 3 areas, IMO: (1) getting off the brakes momentarily sooner & sooner, (2) getting to the throttle momentarily sooner & sooner, and (3) careful line selection, and will be aided immenseley if you can get data on your laps/segment times.
