My two sons and I all wear it. At first it seemed a little constricting but you easily get used to it. After seeing some of the recent F1 and GP2 crashes you'd be crazy not to...

I bought mine a couple of months ago and I always use it. I don't use the pads becasue they push the Hans up so high that it makes early contact with my Bell helmet and causes the helmet to move upward at the chin. Without pads I have no issues. I am planning to change the pads for some slim memory foam becasue I do prefer the feel w/pads.
I don't have issues using the Hans w/pads with an Aria helmet.

Which is why I only wear mine sometimes...Jumping quickly from car to car is not conducive to HANS, but when I have a little bit of time, I will wear it when I drive.

I do, with pads.
As to not wearing it without 5 or 6 point harnesses; I have been told by one of the testers that a 3 point harness snugged down hard (lock the shoulder belt by yanking on it, then move the seat forward) actually will provide some of the benefits of the Hans.
This is not a recommendation; your decision.
Comments? I know how the Hans works, but found this suggestion intriguing.

I do too. Always debated whether to use one or not. Drove for a couple of DE's without it after purchasing it (DUH!). Wore it once and will never go back. DE's, races, member days, whatever, I'll be wearing it.
