To all PCA racers: Check out the GTS Challenge, hosted by NASA.
First event of the season is Double Sprints at VIR/Long Course on Feb. 18/19. The 17th is a test & tune day. Register at http://www.nasaracing.net/VIR_Feb_06/event.htm
Our full GTS schedule is posted at gtschallenge.com/schedule.htm
You'll find something for everyone from the Southeast, Mid Atlantic, Ohio/Indiana regions. New this year are regions in Southern & Northern California as well as the addition of Rocky Mountains. Give us a try if you haven't done so already!

Good news then, Brian! We look forward to welcoming you to the GTS Challenge. Make sure all your NASA paperwork is in order in plenty of time to avoid last minute hassles.
In addition, check out http://www.gtschallenge.com/rules.htm for complete info on car classification and regs. You will notice that starting in 06 dyno certification is mandatory for your first GTS event. Form to complete is linked in the GTS rules page and we use DynoJets as our standard. GTS stickers will be available for purchase at the track (from me).

Even for GTSU? Seems like if I'm going to be in GTSU it wouldn't matter what the power to weight ratio is because I'm gonna end up in that class either way.

Brian, dyno certification is mandatory regardless of what class you run in. That class will be determined not only by dyno numbers but also by scaling at the track. All class winners are impounded in addition to random dyno checks.
We have chosen to do this to keep everyone honest and level the playing field in the various classes.
"Buzz, where do stock 996 Cups fall in Your game?"
Glen, there are several 996 Cup cars running in GTS's various regions. There are classified as GTSU.
"Any news on a mid-west schedule?"
Jim, you can find the Ohio-Indiana as well as all the GTS regional schedules at http://www.gtschallenge.com/schedule.htm
NEW NEXT YEAR IN NASA - AND GTS CHALLENGE - ARE THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS AT MID OHIO ON SEPTEMBER 11-17, 2006
