What is the top speed you reach on the back straight at the Glen?

120 in fourth (according to the speedo) - slow , I know, but then I'm in the lowest run goup w/ a stock "86 cab - hey , why am i making excuses - its fast enuf for me! - and the bus stop chicane and the right hander that follows are my favoriter parts of the track...

Right around 120 for me as well in the my 83 944. I shift up into 5th right near track out of turn 4, which is about 115. If I gain 5-10mph at that point I'm lucky.

118 indicated in my old '90 BMW 325is. I expect to exceed that by a bit, this year. ;-)

My DL-90 has indicated a Vmax of 155 before the busstop but nobody seems to believe it.

I believe it for certain cars. The one time I ran there in my 993TT is saw ~155 (that was based on rpm and gearing - indicated was 165) just before bus stop and that was on street tires.

140 in a 2002 996 C2 coupe. That was plenty fast for me.

125ish (if you believe the speedo) was the fastest I remember seeing.

130-ish in 5th according to the speedo, in my 944S2.

Now if that bus stop weren't there...

120 in my old 83 944, shifting to 5th at about the same place Ken mentions.

130 in the 911, but it has 17s on it now so I don't know how accurate the speedo is.

150 in my dad's 964, according to the speedo but it had to be off. All I know is that it was cool that day and the car was flying.

170+ as a passenger in the Tilo 928 in 2000 according to the speedo. All I can say is "holy----!
