WRT rotor, there was a bit of carnage when it finally went... In general you don't know exactly when, so timing it is not a good thing!

What's kind of scary about the rotor, is other than the chunk missing, it doesn't look bad. It kind of looks like it was damaged in a collision or off.

I do have my collection of shame, that particular display is at a shop run by a buddy...

The rotor is fine except for that small piece that went AWOL :-)

These things remind me that consumables like brakes, rotors, ball joints, wheel bearings, etc need to be treated like the disposable quantities they are...
