I’m glad I’m not the only one who saw that.
Notice the hand at the head of the worm.
Remind you of anything ?

I was typing a reply that would surely have resulted in a two week ban. Let's just say I believe I might have seen this used in an online video.

There is insurance for that to avoid the ban in the event of contact...

I have to admit, if I had insurance against getting banned it might influence what I type.

I was using Lockforum and OnForum, but I'm gonna switch over to OpenForum Insurance as they let you post in unlimited forums for one annual fee....
I have been told that I cannot ever get forum insurance. I think my forum incidents have really not been that bad (I have never been banned).
Moderators,....I would like to be moved to the fastest forum please.

That would be the “Flat Out” forum. IIRC, that is 2 forums down from this one.

I don't post in this forum often, but I just gotta say... this thread delivers. Well done gentlemen.

I believe this forum has been 'hidden' from me.
The only thing that has kept me from an F1 career is that I don't want to travel that much.

If you think we are having fun now just wait until Mr Kibort figures out what he's been missing and decides to weigh in. It'll be whole new level.

Your use of the phrase "extremely fast" suggests a lack of understanding of this sport. Every car has a limit as far as its lap time on a given track, and no one can drive it faster than that limit. On equal tires, the limit of a GT3 will generally be much faster than a Miata. If you see a GT3 lapping faster than a Miata at a track, the Miata may not appear to be going "extremely fast", but the driver of the Miata could be a pro driving the car near its limit, while the GT3 is being driven by an amateur well below its limit, despite the GT3 appearing to be going "extremely fast" compared to the Miata.

Talking about going "extremely fast" at a track day is meaningless. What matters is learning to work towards the limits of the car, however fast or slow that may be. Or you could just drive expensive and "extremely fast" cars to give the appearance of being a skilled driver.
Well said, and spot on, Manifold.
