Maybe Ak3249 or someone else, will be able to make a high speed run on the Autobahn with some GoPro cameras!
That would definitely be interesting, as long as there's no snow or salt on the ground when I go, I may shoot a small video.
But idk how hard I'm gonna push the car, still a 27 year old car. I'll give it some gas but not gonna redline the shifts. Will post a vid and some pics when I go to pick it up.
1985 IAA, 1985 Tokyo Motor Show, 1986 NAIA Chicago - Presentation of the 959
The production car was revealed for the first time in 1985 as a 1986 model at the 1985 IAA in Frankfurt, Germany. and at the 1985 Tokyo Auto Show (photo below).
The "cut-away" car made an appearance at the 1986 NA Autoshow in Chicago.
RM is auctioning a 959 with an estimate of $1.1-1.4. Should be an interesting result. However from what I've seen, for some reason RM never gets high numbers with the 959, all the record 959 prices have been with Gooding.
