I would like to compare them with the 1989 928, which was the following car with this system.
There are two of these sensors on each wheel.

You can also see the "hollow spoke" Channel in this photo:

this is the sensor housing on the inner side of the wheel (facing the brake system)

Thank you!

Except the protection inside the rim, they look really similar to those of a 928.

Another question for you.
Do you think these aluminum doors are from a 959?

They look different then original 959 doors, Holes for mirrors, curvature of leading edge of the door. Are they aluminum inside and out?

the lower corner is not correct, this is probably an early 80's door

do you have a close up of where the outside skin, wraps over the inner skin?

Recived my personal diagnostic tool to my 59 today.

I have borowed one before, but liked to have one myself.

This tool and the workshop book make it easier to get the problems.

Hans.

I think they all have matching interiors as well too? (Except the 964.) I.E. Gold on gold, purple on purple, etc.. I've also read the reason for seven is .... one for each day of the week!

I'm surprised he didn't order another when Porsche built a few more in the '90's.

I always suspected that Turbo S was owned by the same guy because of the stripes. Thanks for confirming my suspicions!

I want to say I think I thought I maybe perhaps saw a picture of the striped green car. Is it dark green? I could be mistaking the picture for the non-striped dark green car.

Cool! I've never seen a picture of one of the fabled 90's versions!

Question: Is a 959 with leather sport seats merely a Komfort model optioned with such? I've seen numerous 959s with leather sport seats.

Quite the source of 959 information you are!

I've always wondered the story on this car:

I recall reading it was brought to North America where it briefly raced in SCCA, after which was subsequently converted back for street use?

What does it do?... I was reading that mclaren f1 engineers scour eBay for old computers which can run the software to talk to their cars. Electronics move on so fast.. Amazing you need that thing. Very cool

The diagnos box is talking to the 59´s computer with blinking lights.
In the workshop manual, there is an listing , how to see the faults.

The red 47 car belonged to Don May, featured in Excellence Aug -91.

It's a coolant hose. Retail was around $800 when it was available. I have no idea how often they get replaced, but hoses do wear out. Are you in a 959 yet?
