I can't hand him the CGT keys - maybe next year before the clutch goes never felt so connected to a car like the CGT.

16M is great prices have gotten silly feel bad logging miles on two appreciating cars at once ... NOT

After the SV arrives going to start looking at more 60's cars you have a nice group!

Thanks! Yes the 60's Muscle cars were my pops first love.... then I talked him into getting a new 08 Z06 and it has been newer cars ever since! With the appreciating values, I just look at it as we have almost unlimited miles to put on the cars before the values ever drop to less than what we paid!

I have a question about insurance coverage regarding the CGT in CA. Do most of you have "regular" coverage, e.g. State Farm? Or collector's car insurance, e.g. Haggerty or Heacock?
In an appreciating market, which insurance company is best, and how do you cover the changing value of the car?

Although I'm not based in CA, I use Hagerty for my CGT and other cars.
As it is an 'agreed value policy' (which is Essential), I periodically call them to adjust the values as needed. This is important too and should be done at least 1-2x a year in a changing market. Thus far, they have been really easy to work with and haven't balked at any of my proposed values. I have also heard really good things about Chubb's Collector car policies, but I have no personal experience with them.

State Farm fair market value / replacement 10k deductible.

Hi guys,

I am thinking to sell my 2005 blk/blk Carrera GT, it has 7800 miles, and come with all the luggage, the car is clean. I've checked eBay and dupontregistry, I've seen asking price anywhere from 650k all the way to 1.2M. What's the realistic price I should ask for? Should I try to sell it myself or better do consignment with the dealer? thanks in advance
