Porsche has always been difficult to deal with on ANY warranty issues where the monetary damage could be substantial. i have been lucky so far since by relationship with the dealer has been good and they have been able to help me is most cases. but in any event, i expect porsche to stand behind the car after you spend 450K and the issue is non-performance related. my last warranty claim on my 997TT has just been turned down and i think i have had enough. the ccxr sounds very interesting as a replacement.

@VRAlexander: do you got something by mail from PCNA by now? Would like to read their decision and my friend would like to know it, although his car has no yellowing up to now (but he will keep his eyes on that).

what's going on in here.
So Mr Djord..., have you gotten any news from Mr Schwarzenbauer?
If i were you i would try to get in touch with Mr Durheimer at Weissach.
I can push ya up there if you would like.
Good luck with your sunny sunshine CGT issue.

Good to see you on here...I am glad someone from Porsche is here to answer the many questions everyone has....Thanks for stepping up to the plate!

I wrote Schwarzenbauer a very direct letter, which he should respond too since he has received one before from a close friend of mine...As for Porsche...well I haid enough....my actions are going to speak louder than my words....

Thanks again for joining....welcome!

"Good luck with your sunny sunshine CGT issue."

Is that another way of saying yellowing? Kinda like people in the energy industry wanting to call global warming a more mundane term like climate shift.... Hmmm

sir you want me to get you in touch with durheimer who is the boss of weissach.
I ll be pleased to bring that to his attention. He will sure be the one who is going to help you.
Don't play with the administatives, they don't know the product.
I hope this will be resolved by the end of next week.

While Herr Durheimer is worrying about carbon fiber on CGTs, can he have some people stock parts for 964 Cups?

Nevermind cups, how about starting with plain Jane 964s and 993s??? It's amazing that a car manufacturer is slowing parts production for a 10 year old car.

That would be a move in the right direction! Thank you and 'YES' I would like to speak with him. You may give him my contact info or PM me his and I will give him a call.

Thank you for going above your "call to duty" on this!

It was another hot day in Vegas....I dropped by the Porsche dealer yesterday to pick up a quart of oil with the CGT... When I came out a gentleman in his late 40's approached me and started talking about CGT's...he had seen my videos on YOUTUBE and wanted to take a closer look at my mods....Apparently he was in the middle of closing a deal on a silver 05 CGT ....we talked for about 30 minutes and then went over to Coffee Bean and sat for another hour talking about Porsche...I explained in overwhelming detail everything about the CGT as well as my dissapointment with PCNA and how I was treated...He too was appalled (and shocked) at my current situation with Porsche....I showed him the yellowing when he left (to the Lambo dealership well advised)... We met up this morning for coffee and he was very happy driving his new LP640 The car is beautiful and it sounds awesome....Now the broker that sold him the LP640 want to talk to me as well...

carreraGT558-
Have you had a chance to pass on my message? I still have not heard from anyone at Porsche....Thanks

sir,

I have sent a message to Weissach last week but didn't get anything back yet.
I heard that Porsche ag is considering an action against the carbon manufacture.
Send me a PM and I'll give you all the email addresses you need.

That seems like Porsche's MO....Thank you for your time on this! If you can send me the contact info to my e-mail (in your PM) I will forwarded it to my attorney that is dealing with this.

Thank you again and have a great weekend!
