Thats not really accurate. Spencer Pumpelli did 2.12s in a Cayman in February this year.

Thanks for sharing.

What paddleshift system are you running and are you running Bosch ABS in European GT4?

We are using the KMP set-up but its really only the steering wheel. All peripherals are stock. Just a different software on the stock ecu.

I have been hearing rumors that the GT4 will have it's own Cup series next year. This was brought up during a drivers meeting at the last GT3 Cup Canada series. Nothing has been said with 100% but I think they are hoping to up the cars on the grid and these should cut costs in half...Well at least the initial buy in.

From what I gather they are hoping to run the two cars together GT3/GT4 classes. Very curious as to whatthe spec of the car will be?? Anyone else have info on this?

Marius

What is the stock ECU for the GT 4? Just wondering if it is the same as the latest Cayman, 991 version I think. Trying to set up AIM equipment for a GT 4 in Bahrain.

Thanks

PDK transmission. No data. Production car engine that is a throwaway vs rebuild. Lower running costs. No IMSA sanctioning. Continental and Pirelli Cup venues. Limited PMNA support.

Does that mean new Cup motor will be throwaway too once they switch to street-based DFI or will we see a completely bespoke motor, which seems unlikely?

Polesitter Why do you say no IMSA sanctioning? Curious as to how it will race with the GT3 cup cars then? That is a IMSA event?

My understanding is there are no plans for a one make series at the pro level. More likely in PCA or something like Pirelli drivers.
