I think you asked a question about my 3.4 boxter. i see the thread is missing - so perhaps I posted it in the wrong forum. Anyhow, there no real internal mods. The intake runner was made up custom - to account for the 996 intake pointing to the right, and the boxster pointing to the left, and a vacuum system to open and close the variable intake valve. Both were done by Vision Motorsports and look and work like factory items. So, I expect the motor is making a little less than when in the 996. The intake is probably a little restrictive compared to the 996 and the exhaust is probably still a little smaller in diameter than the 996. So I would expect around 300hp. Good luck for now.
